Accelerating climate action: edie publishes Net-Zero November round-up report
For those who missed edie’s special themed month of content – Net-Zero November, headlined by Net-Zero Live – edie has published a report recapping all the key announcements and talking points.
Brought to you by the award-winning edie content team, in association with headline sponsor EDF, Net-Zero November is an editorial campaign designed to help businesses raise their sustainability ambitions and accelerate climate action.
The month saw the team publishing more than 40 pieces of exclusive content around the theme of the net-zero transition, including exclusive interviews, downloadable guides, reader blogs and five podcast episodes. Major announcements also took place in the policy space – from the US and Canada to the UK – and in the private sector, with the campaign providing the latest on all the key news.
To help readers recap on the jam-packed month of events and to catch up on content they may have missed, edie has published the Net-Zero November 2020 Summary report.
The 14-page report is free to download. It summarises the key news announcements from the month, the main discussion points from the three-day Net-Zero Live virtual conference and provides exclusive quotes from sustainability leaders.
The report also features an exclusive foreword from the Sustainable Energy Association’s chief executive Jade Lewis, who writes about hope and collaboration on the road to net-zero, and an industry viewpoint from EDF’s director of I&C sales and marketing Matthew Nunn.
“The energy and dedication to new ambitions we have witnessed over the past month has been unmatched – yet it seems that, finally, actions could align with talk and the holistic picture could be addressed as an opportunity rather than an insurmountable challenge,” edie’s senior reporter Sarah George said.
“This report is designed to summarise all the key announcements and discussion points from Net-Zero November; and to act as a blueprint for business leadership as we begin to move from ambition into action and as we head into the year of COP26.”
