Inproba expands sauce production capacity by 20%

To expand sauce production by 20%, Inproba starts a major renovation of two of its main manufacturing lines.

The end of June will mark the completion of the makeover. Inproba’s soy and (sweet) chilli sauces are the primary beneficiaries of the production expansion.

Jeroen van Dongen, commercial director of Inproba said the expansion is the first stage in the ambitious investment roadmap that the company has worked out with its new investors at the beginning of 2025.

“Our private label clients have requested more production capacity for their Asian sauce category for quite some time,” van Dongen explained. “Until now we weren’t able to support these requests, but with this new investment we can move forward again. We are looking forward to discuss new opportunities with our clients at the upcoming PLMA.”

Inproba is a leading European private label manufacturer of high-quality Asian sauces. The company is based in Baarn, Netherlands, and employs 200 people. Inproba was acquired by Amsterdam-based private equity firm Value Enhancement Partners in February 2025.
