Trilliant and Thailand’s Samart Telecoms have reached a milestone with the delivery of Advanced Metering Infrastructure for the Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA).
The deployment of the AMI is for commercial and industrial meters to meet the complex requirements of PEA, according to a statement.
Supporting multiple meter brand deployments, Samart is leveraging Trilliant’s UnitySuite head end system as part of its offering and services for PEA to improve real-time data collection efficiency for customers.
The entire solution ecosystem that is being delivered to the utility is cellular-based communication with multiple meter brand deployments and includes head end system backend integration to Samart’s meter operations management system.

Trilliant’s UnitySuite delivers data collection every 15 minutes to help keep a utility’s field operations running smoothly and to achieve the best, most reliable electricity flow across the grid.
It provides the monitoring of network performance with dashboards and visualisations, powers centralised utilities’ applications and enables the ability to optimise asset use.
“We congratulate Samart on the completion of this phase of its ongoing work with PEA – an exciting milestone with more success to come,” said Eugene Loke, Managing Director, APAC at Trilliant.
“This partnership allows us to co-operate and deliver our next-generation AMI platform to support multiple meter brand deployments with PEA.”
The partnership between Trilliant and Samart was launched in 2022, with the award of a contract by the PEA to the STS Consortium, comprised of Samart Telcoms and Samart Communication Services.
