Manomasa and British Dancing Sports Association unveil popped chip snack

Manomasa has announced an exciting partnership with the British Dance Sport Association and the introduction of new Manomasa Popped Corn Chips.

The brand renowned for its dedication to crafting corn tortilla chips packed with fresh, vibrant flavours, said the launch coincides with the brands’ vibrant new look and an industry-first partnership with the British Dance Sport Association (BDSA) the independent body for Latin American and Ballroom dance in the UK, marking a pivotal step in the brand’s ongoing evolution.

In a bold move to expand its portfolio, Manomasa, a brand owned by the Valeo Foods UK group, has introduced its newest line of popped chips. Building on the momentum of their vibrant new look, the Manomasa Popped Corn Chips are now available at Waitrose. A source of fibre, thanks to wholesome ingredients including corn, chickpea, quinoa and black bean, these chips are just 80kcal per serving and bursting with the vibrant flavours of Latin America.

Manomasa partnered with the BDSA to blend the dynamic worlds of dance and wholesome snacking to inspire people to move boldly, both on the dance floor and in their everyday lives.

Neil Harrison, CEO of the BDSA says the association is truly delighted about its new partnership with the Manomasa brand.

“This is a dance industry first, partnering with a snacks brand to promote dance to the public,” Harrison proclaims. “Bringing together the vibrancy and intensity of Latin American dance with the wholesome flavours of Manomasa chips is the perfect match. Together with Valeo Foods, we are planning some fantastic sponsorship activations throughout the year to promote the health and wellbeing benefits of dance and get more people dancing. We can’t wait to get started! “

Whether it’s the dynamic rhythms of a Cha Cha Cha or the satisfying crunch of a Manomasa Popped Corn Chip, a shared dedication to passion, energy, and bold expression has inspired the collaboration between Manomasa and the BDSA.

New Manomasa Popped Corn Chips are now available exclusively at Waitrose and will soon launch in other supermarkets. Available in two bold flavours – Jalapeño Barbecue and Sour Cream & Spring Onion – a wholesome snack that is full of vibrancy.

In addition, Manomasa continues to offer its signature six flavours in redesigned packaging, now available in most major supermarkets (RRP £2.20 for 140g). These flavours showcase white corn masa combined with wholesome ingredients like quinoa, pumpkin seeds, and green lentils, all rolled, toasted, and rested for an extra crunchy bite.
