Gut healthy vegan Water Kefir now in 750ml
PiQi Life has created a range of vegan, gut-friendly Water Kefir now available in large 750ml format.
PiQi Water Kefir is available in four flavours: Original Fig; Grapefruit and Cardamom; Butterfly Pea Flower; and Ginger and Lemon.
Kefir is usually associated with a probiotic gut-friendly drink based on milk. However, there is another kefir that it completely dairy free. And with many people choosing to avoid dairy for health reasons, PiQi has created sparkling fermented Water Kefir. It has all the gut health benefits of traditional Kefir but without the dairy, making it perfect for those who want to look after their health. It is estimated that around 80% of the immune system is housed in the gut, and a healthy gut is believed to contribute to a stronger immune system.
PiQi’s Water Kefir is a living fermented drink made from water, kefir culture (mixture of bacteria and yeast known as ‘water kefir grains’), and organic sugar. The fermentation process gives Water Kefir its distinctive light tangy taste and probiotic qualities.
Teeming with vegan lactic acid bacteria, it allows drinkers to add naturally occurring probiotics to their diet and support a healthy gut and overall well-being.
PiQi Water Kefir comes in four flavours:
Ginger & Lemon Water Kefir – This invigorating water kefir is brewed with organic fiery ginger and organic lemon. A lively zesty thirst quencher with subtle lemon and citrus notes.
Butterfly Pea Flower Kefir – An uplifting, magical herbal infusion brewed with organic sustainably-sourced butterfly-pea flowers and lychees. This water kefir is rich in antioxidants and has a delicate aroma with herbal and floral notes.
Grapefruit & Cardamom Kefir – This refreshing kefir is brewed with organic pink grapefruit and paired with fragrant, yet delicate cardamom.
Original Fig-Infused Kefir – Water kefir in its most natural form. This rejuvenating elixir is brewed with organic figs and has a delicate honey-like aroma with a crisp and slightly fruity flavour.
PiQi Water Kefir is brewed in small batches at the company’s fermentary in North Devon where they use only the finest sustainably sourced organic ingredients and uplifting botanicals.
PiQi Water Kefir is never heat treated or pasteurised, helping preserve the original intended benefits of kefir and making it a healthy, sustainable choice to processed and dairy-based drinks.
PiQi was founded by long-time fermentation enthusiasts and vegan entrepreneurs Aksana Fitzpatrick and Nick Young who want to help people look after their gut-health and wellbeing on a compassionate, plant-based lifestyle.
