PBT Works Celebrates 30 Years of Manufacturing World-Class Cleaning Technology
PBT Works s.r.o., a leading manufacturer of cleaning technology for electronic assemblies and tooling, is pleased to announce its 30-year anniversary. The company is based in Rožnov pod Radhoštěm, Czech Republic, with its own state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities and development team.
PBT Rožnov p.R. s.r.o. was established in 1992 as a joint venture with Swiss company PBT AG. In 1999, PBT Rožnov p.R. s.r.o. purchased the shares from PBT AG and became an independent company, operating under two divisions: SMT Machine Design & manufacturing (later renamed as PBT Works s.r.o.) and SMD Technology Provider (PBT Rožnov p.R. s.r.o.).
PBT Works s.r.o. was founded by Vladimir Sítko, former CEO and now Mentor & Co-Owner. Today, his son Robert Sítko is the company’s CEO & Co-Owner. PBT Works has more than 80 employees and is considered one of the world’s top manufacturers of cleaning machines for electronic assembly and tooling.
“During the last 30 years the company has grown tremendously,” stated Vladimir Sítko, Founder. “From a small group of five people sitting in one office and building one machine in two months in a rented garage, into a modern enterprise. PBT Works has its own metal production where all stainless-steel components are made. We have our own research and design group that enables us to follow state-of-the art requirements. Our assembly and testing site along with service and support staff secures a continuous flow of production and post-sales support. Together with several cooperating companies and more than 50 representatives we are able to offer high flexibility and a worldwide presence.”
The company keeps up with the latest process innovations in microelectronic assembly to develop customized machines based on end-user-specific requirements. PBT Works’ mission is to implement research ideas into industry-leading equipment.
PBT Works is EN ISO 9001 and EN ISO 14001 certified. It is an active member of IPC and IMAPS professional organizations. For more information, visit www.pbt-works.com.
